Piranha - Wheeled Armour for the Modern Battlefield

With the multi-purpose armoured wheeled vehicle PIRANHA the Swiss company MOWAG made the grand slam concerning modern wheeled armour. With more than 6,500 vehicles delivered worldwide the end of production is still far away and the vehicle is continuosly modernised. Configurations range from 4x4 to 10x10 and proposals have been made to integrate heavy ordnance with the chassis. The number of variants of the PIRANHA is legendary.
